This is the start of my idea of some sort of special forces uniform. I'm busy converting an MP001 at the moment, and I've ordered the webbing to go with it. The Webbing set on it already is my Airborne one.
Ordered the OSS badge from Cost A Fortune as well.
How do I look? (What is different about the M41?)-- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available --

I wasn't wearing any pants at the time, and Calvin Klein boxers really don't go with my load out haha Naw only had a pair of shorts on and didn't want to ruin the look.

(What is different about the M41?)

Have you sprayed it with black stripes or something?

try dipping a rag in od paint and then randomly daubing the uniform with the paint like pathfinders did prior to action, works best if you wear the uniform and somebody applies the paint rag, the aerosol stripes look a little too modern in my opinion.

It's sprayed with dark brown aerosol paint, looks great up close but will have a go with the rag to make the edges less...'aerosolly'

What did the pathfinders orginally use? Wouldnt Paint make the material go really stiff?

I imagine it would...and it is slightly more stiff...it doesn't impede movement or anything like that. And it does look rather good with all the gear on. I'm getting a loadout together, that's why I've been buying up everyones spare kit haha. Probably going to go with my Springfield...or maybe buy another Thompson.

I've heard of Pathfinders painted their uniforms...never heard of it being done to equipment before. I imagine it would look quite odd.

Remember, just because you've seen it in one picture doesn't mean it's a good idea to represent that.

Like Alex says, Pathfinders painted their uniforms (and maybe kit, but I've not seen it before). They were specialist troops though and needed the extra camouflage.

I'd do a bit more research before painting your kit.
